Podcast: Stereotyping Study ~ Part 2

01.14.12

Bubble PortraitsI recently wrote an article that featured a video about a stereotyping study where women were asked to take a math test and were told halfway through the test that men perform math better than women. After posting this article, my brother showed me a podcast about the same study that goes much more in depth than the original video I posted. It talks about something called the Obama Effect, a theory about how a electing a black president influences the confidence of black people in the United States. I thought you'd be interested in hearing this. It's just so fascinating to learn how much our minds are effected when trying to prove we don't fit into a stereotype.
